Paul began his journey with the Lord nearly forty years ago. While working at UPS, he regularly spoke about the things of God with a coworker. What stood out to Paul was that the answers to his questions were never based on personal opinion—they came from Scripture alone. Those conversations led Paul to begin reading the Bible for himself and seeking the truth found in God’s Word.

Not long afterward, God reached down and relieved Paul of debilitating pain in his spine, confirming in his heart that he belonged to the Lord and that the Lord would never leave him. Through many trials and many blessings, God has remained faithfully at Paul’s side, leading him throughout his journey on this earth. Paul trusts that the Lord will continue leading him—and all His people—until Christ returns or calls them home.

Paul leads Men’s Ministry and Bible Study with a desire to keep the gospel at the centre of everything men learn and live. His intention is to help men understand more deeply what Christ accomplished on their behalf: though He knew no sin, He willingly bore our sin so that, through faith in Him, we might become the righteousness of God. Paul desires to create a place where men can open God’s Word together, pray honestly, encourage one another, and grow in their identity as followers of Christ. He hopes to see men transformed by grace and strengthened to lead with humility, integrity, courage, and love as they serve their families, their church, their workplaces, and their community. As Scripture says, “For our sake He made Him to be sin Who knew no sin…” (2 Corinthians 5:21, ESV), declaring that through Christ we may become the righteousness of God.

Details about Andrew's ministry focus will be shared soon. In the meantime, he serves alongside our pastoral team as an elder who cares for and shepherds our church family.

Jesus found Eric at his lowest point in the winter of 2022. Only then did he realize how long the Lord had been pursuing him — through signs he had not recognized until grace opened his eyes. That encounter reshaped everything.

Since August 2025 he has been married to his beautiful wife, Jenna Desjardins. Eric is also dad to his daughter, Emaira Desjardins, born in 2006. Jenna and Eric work hard together to glorify God in the ordinary rhythms of daily life, and her companionship brings life and strength to the outreach mission Eric is called to lead.

Eric leads Outreach Ministry with a simple aim: to reach beyond our walls into the community, and to carry the good news as far as Jesus will send us. Our conviction is that there is one true God — and that countless people need at least the chance to consider the gospel before turning away from it. They cannot consider what they have never heard. As Scripture asks, “How then will they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14).
